I had studied in Europe during college - and then my wife, Heidi, and I lived in Madrid and and then Vienna for a time. We try to make it back to Europe every year with our three sons and we now venture to other places whenever we can. We all know that travel is that opportunity to push you out of a comfort zone and experience life in a different way - the sights, the smells, the food and of course the people. When we can, we rent houses so I can cook and shop at the local markets - and we always try to bring back some of that quality of life to the way we live back in Los Angeles when we return
