Years ago I purchased a large Wacom Cintiq that served as a second monitor in my studio and I had never really used as a drawing tool. I tried it out one day and instantly fell in love with the capabilities. I didn't have to pull out my pens, markers, paints and set up an art area  - I could simply work on a drawing and save it whenever I wanted to come back later and keep going. With the improvements to the iPad - I have converted to using it for most all of my digital illustrations now - mostly in Procreate. I usually finish the work on the iPad and then bring the image into photoshop for the last details.
